Though Thanksgiving is the busiest pie day of the year, it’s actually the holiday season that is the busiest month of the year here at the shop. With that in mind we want to provide you with as much information as we can to make your pie experience as memorable and worry free as possible.
While all the information below is relevant, we have links to the different sections if there is something you’re really interested in . . .

New Year’s Day, January 1
Tuesday, January 2 – Saturday, January 6
We will be closed the first full week of January…because (full disclosure) we’d like to have a little bit of a rest after the busy Thanksgiving & Holiday season. AND so we can catch up on all the Hallmark Channel movies we missed that are on our DVR at home!
We will reopen for normal business operations on Tuesday, January 9th.
What FULL SIZE pies will you be offering during December?
Our featured pie of the month is Chocolate Chess. If you love chocolate you should definitely get it! However, our most popular flavors (Passion Pear, Caramel Apple, and Strawberry Guava) will also be available throughout the month as well. As our menu changes and updates weekly, definitely check with us early in the week for what we’re offering. As this is a busy time for us, our lower stocked pies may not be available as they sell out as the month goes on.
What MINI pies will you be offering during December?
Our mini pie menu changes weekly and may even change 2-3 times a week during the month as certain mini pies sell out and different mini pies are restocked. If you’d like to pick up mini pies, please check with us that morning as our menu may change from day to day. If you’d like to place a large order of mini pies (20 or more of one flavor), we encourage you to place an order at least a week in advance.
Will you be offering MINI PIES or SPECIALS on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve?
Just like Thanksgiving, most people are picking up full size pies for gatherings and celebrations. Our focus on those days will be to make sure that everyone that wants a full size pie can get one. Space in our ovens is limited and on these big holidays we give priority to full size pies. However, if space allows or if we have the time, we will bake mini pies or specials. Long story short, if you see them that day we have them, if you don’t see them on that day we don’t have them.
Should I order a pie ahead of time or should I pick one up?
We highly recommend placing an order in advance. We will be baking pies throughout the day on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve for walk-in customers, but supply will be dependent on what we have on hand when you come in to the shop.
When should I order my pies for Christmas or New Year’s?
Now! Fortune favors the bold. Good things don’t come to those that wait. We highly encourage you to place an order ahead of time so you can get the pies that you want for Christmas and New Year’s.
How can I order my pies for Christmas or New Year’s?
There are two ways to order pies: 1) IN PERSON: Come visit us in the shop before the pre-order deadline and place your order in person with one of our staff. 2) PHONE: Call us (988-7828) and place your order over the phone with one of our staff before the pre-order deadline. Messages on Facebook, Instagram, Yelp, and though our website are so passé. We crave interpersonal communication so we definitely encourage you to stop by or give us a call. 🙂
What information do you need when I call in my order?
We kindly ask that you provide the following information:
- Pies that you want (flavor/s, baked/frozen, quantity desired)
- Pick-up Date & Pick-up Time
- Your first and last name
- Contact information (phone & email)
- Credit/Debit card to pay for or hold your order
Can I change order?
Holiday orders (non-prepaid) can be changed or canceled up until the Tuesday BEFORE their respective holiday (see below). After that time, all orders are final and payment will be processed.
What is the absolute last day that I can place an order?
Tuesday, December 19 will be the final day for CHRISTMAS pre-orders.
Tuesday, December 26 will be the final day for NEW YEAR’S pre-orders.
Pies can still be purchased after the respective deadlines, but will be on a walk-in basis only.
When can I pick up my order?
You will choose the day and time that you would like to pick up your order. We will have your order ready for you on the date and time specified when you place your order. We will not be responsible if you choose the wrong day or time for pick-up. If you come during the incorrect timeframe for your order, your pie may not be available for pick up.
If there is any chance you could come earlier to pick up your order, please note that when your order is placed. Due to the logistics and planning involved we will not be able to change the pick up date or time for your order after the deadline has passed.
Can I cancel my order or get a refund after my order has been processed?
Unfortunately once payment is received or processed, all sales are final on Holiday orders (including pre-paid orders). Due to the logistical coordination involved as well as the large number of pies allocated for the holidays we must ask for payment beforehand or a credit/debit card to hold your order.
How will I know if payment has been processed? (phone orders only)
You will receive a receipt via email once payment has been processed (non-prepaid orders only).
What happens if I forget to pickup my order?
We ask for a contact number from you because on the off chance that you do forget to pick up; we do try to call and track you down. However . . . all pie orders paid and not picked up on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve will not be eligible for a store credit or refund.
Only the following pies listed will be available to pre-order for Christmas and New Year’s. Some will be available for purchase both baked and frozen. Please note if you would like to order a frozen pie.
